Easy Coding Tricks — Source Code Library for a Developer YouTube Channel — A searchable, copy-ready source code library that turns YouTube tutorial viewers into repeat site visitors.

Challenge

Tutorial viewers on YouTube constantly ask for the code — and pasting it into video descriptions or scattered Gist links doesn't scale. Once a channel has dozens of videos, viewers can't find the snippet from the video they just watched, older code goes stale in comment threads, and every "where's the source?" comment costs the creator time. The channel needed a single home for every video's code: fast to search, free to access with no sign-up wall, and lightweight enough to load instantly on the mobile devices most viewers watch on. It also had to double as a credibility page that converts an audience of developers into freelance enquiries, without the site ever feeling like a sales funnel.

Solution

We built a fast static site with a searchable code library at its core. Each post is filterable by title, tag and language, with syntax-highlighted snippets, one-click copy, and ZIP download for full projects — no account, no paywall. Progressive "show more" loading keeps the initial page weight small while the library grows. The design leans into a developer-native code-editor aesthetic — monospace type, terminal-style section labels, a status bar footer — so the audience feels at home immediately. A dedicated Hire Me page and Fiverr links sit alongside the free content, turning channel trust into a lead channel. The site ships as hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript on Firebase Hosting, with full Open Graph and Twitter Card metadata so every shared link renders a proper preview in video descriptions and social posts.

Results

A single canonical destination for every video's source code, replacing scattered links and repeat comment requests. Copy and download take one click, with zero friction from sign-ups or paywalls. Static hosting on a global CDN keeps load times near-instant and running costs effectively zero, and new posts publish without a rebuild pipeline. The Hire Me route gives the channel a direct freelance enquiry path from an audience that has already seen the work.
